Inhalation grotto

Climatic conditions: 38 – 40°C, saline steam with 20 % salt content
Recommended duration: 10 – 20 minutes

Inhalation with vaporised Rheinfelder Natursole® (natural brine) has a cleansing, normalising and regenerative effect on the respiratory tracts. Used prophylactically, inhaling the vaporised natural brine is ideal for counteracting the damaging effects of environmental (air) pollution on the respiratory tracts. Used therapeutically, inhalation is effective after both infectious and chronic illnesses of the respiratory tracts (e.g. bronchial asthma, sinusitis, hoarseness).

The beneficial effects of the inhalation grotto are best experienced when the body is relaxed rather than directly after an intensive physical workout. Breathing deeply and slowly enhances the effects.

In the sole uno wellness world, the natural brine is vaporised via the “Gradierwerk”, a salt-vapour inhalatorium, which comprises a large mass of blackthorn twigs through which the brine trickles. A process of evaporation increases the salt content and this has a highly beneficial effect on the respiratory tracts.
